Shawn Caron

Veterinarian

Dr Caron has always had a special bond with Quebec. He first lived and worked in Quebec as a veterinary technician before returning to the States to study Veterinary Medicine at the Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine from which he obtained his degree in 1993. Upon graduating, his main areas of interest included zoological medicine and small animal medicine. He divided his time between Standish Veterinary Hospital in Maine and the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston.

Dr Caron joined the Poirier O’Brien Veterinary Hospital in the summer of 2011, where he treats companion animals. Both his clients and patients agree, Dr Caron is a devoted and caring veterinarian.
